Anybody got news that D40, D80 and D200 are going to stop production? Damn I am still saving money so hard and planning to buy a D80 end of this year!

it's just the title mentioning discontinuation, no other text or news.. my guess it's just another rumour..

D200 may be, D40 may be sold off all stock, D80 ......i don think so ler....still young in the market...takkan consumer can either choose D40x or D300 (which very obvious many can't afford...), then canon can benefit from this grey zone market....

might be rumors, like wtf why they wanna stop producing their main three slrs that gives them profit?

believe the d200 has stopped shipping, but not sure about the others....

i tot D200 stock baru replenished? may be last batch?

afaik, D40, D80 and D200 will continue to be manufactured. i hope Nikon will selling them maybe at lower price foward.

y u wanna get D80? all the D80 user gonna switch to D300 already. masing2 ikat perut starting today.

I tot Canon is taking every dSLR market...that's why Nikon is saupeh'ing oredi.

with the new D3 and D300, prices will definately drop lar.
So now maybe the money you saved for D80 can get you D200 already.

will see lots of secondhand d200 out as well...

I am a beginner, not wanting D40x, D80 is just right for me to learn. I am regular average income earner, so can not spend too much money on hobby.

Hopefully D80's price can drop, so can save more money.

if many D80 jump ship to D300, u can get many D80 in 2nd hand market lor....

but, D80--->D300, sure or not......

i don think they gonna stop gua...they will be losing money lei...d3 and d300 is for diff classes of people...i think just roumours lar...
