i walk-in to digital mall this morning, and the X1 carbon gen8 really nice and lite weight. the price around 7K something with 3 yrs warranty. and its touch screen as well.
But i don't know what is the comman issue in this model, my fried advice me dont buy touch screen, because always got problem.

I got mine without the touchscreen as well. Never heard of any issues with the touch screen model though. Surf around and do some readups in reddit.

Its a good investment if you plan to get one for the long run, and not mind the vanilla black design of it. Thinkpads are basically bulletproof.

Btw, you might one to hold off spending 7k on a 2020 notebook. The Gen 9 (2021) X1 carbon just launched yesterday. It'll probably reach M'sia soon.

I always buy my thinkpads online rather than buying it retail. You might get better deals or even cashbacks from your cards.
