X1 Carbon, weighs 1.1kg only. Batt life easily 9-10 hrs a day.

I got mine without the touchscreen as well. Never heard of any issues with the touch screen model though. Surf around and do some readups in reddit. Its a good investment if you plan to get one for the long run, and not mind the vanilla black design of it. Thinkpads are basically bulletproof. |

Btw, you might one to hold off spending 7k on a 2020 notebook. The Gen 9 (2021) X1 carbon just launched yesterday. It'll probably reach M'sia soon.
I always buy my thinkpads online rather than buying it retail. You might get better deals or even cashbacks from your cards. |

The Huawei Matebook X pro, is recently grab my eyes. the design quite nice, slim,touch screen, 16G RAM and 1TB SSD. 15hours battery, 10th GEN intel.
