Initially was sympathetic towards them for losing a child. Nobody hopes such tragedy to befall on anyone.

However now I know why many people have no good words towards this Chinaman company. That clause 7 really unfair and a modern day slavery. This is truly a Chinaman company. Taking advantage of people's desperation, and being vague until people "upcar" or siong cheh in Cantonese. Meaning conned people to join their company.

I wonder how many they have conned and succeeded in milking money out of desperate people ..

thanks for sharing. even if it was 10 years ago, it's good to know. i still keep my offer letters from my first company(the stupidest company so far) in case things like that happen, and i have some scar marks to show for it. haha. indeed, there are useless human beings out there. the longer you work/the more company you work for, higher chance of you meeting them.

They do this because too high turnover until 'beh' tahan. Stupid way to force people to stay. 10 years ago maybe can get away with it, nowadays no way.

i had a small dealing with them 5-6 years ago.

my principal was from japan - toshiba. he came down to meet us and do some field visits.

when we spoke abt BP lab, his first words were "dato beh is a compulsive liar"

coming from a japanese from japan.. LOL

End of the month, take the salary then next day start new job somewhere else. I didn't tender. They did sent a letter to my house asking me to compensate them 6 months salary. I checked with IR office and they said dont bother about that letter.

Clause 7 is just criminal. Easily can go to court and win big. But need to spend time and money which most people don't have.
