Comfort level when I went from 16" (215 60 16) to Primacy 3 17" (215 55 17) on 2004 camry was really noticeable. 18" would be even harsher I guess. 16 is like hovercraft feeling. 17 corners much better, but I won't go to 18 else it gonna feel like a pickup truck.

QUOTE(kiats123 @ Jan 16 2021, 11:53 PM) Thanks thanks! Yes - I do appreciate the comfort so probably option 1 suits be better as you said. Though tt's really tempting to upgrade to 18" for better look and feel (hahaha!!) Btw profile wise it's currently 225/45/17. Will probably try out PS4 once the current tyre wears out! To get an idea of how 18" gonna feel you can try pumping 280-290 kpa in your 17" and take it for a spin for a simulation. This is still adjustable by going to nearest air pump to revert back previous settings - whilst if you bought 18" you're kinda stuck with it for a bit.
