More reliable rumors (or maybe leaks?) were shared yesterday by Ming Chi Kuo and Mark Gurman on the next MacBook Pro 14”/16” coming Q321, who’s waiting impatiently for these to release?

1. The two new models are equipped with about 14-inch and 16-inch displays, respectively.
2. In terms of casing design, the new models cancel the curvy design of existing models’ top and bottom parts and adopt a flat-edged form factor design similar to the ‌iPhone 12‌.
3. The ‌MagSafe‌ charging connector design is restored.
4. The OLED touch bar is removed, and the physical function buttons are restored.
5. There is no Intel CPU option for the new models.
6. They are equipped with more types of I/O, and most users may not need to purchase additional dongles.

No mention of mini-LED or face-ID though, but a better and higher contrast panel...should also come with new apple silicon chip though (M1X or M2)

I own myself an old 2014 MBA. But after impressive review on M1 all around youtube, makes me considering really hard to get one. The issue is my gaming pc display card faulty but im kinda to replace it with a MBA M1 🤣MBA actually got into my cart already. But suddenly this news coming in.

I dunno but seems apple taking the feedback seriously on the touchbar issue and etc. Very promising specs rather than current model.

So now i decided to repair my pc and save my money to get this one instead 😂

Haha I ordered the MBP twice and cancelled twice...full of dilemma..now no need to dilemma...will just wait for this to come...should be June/July ..I hope

Yeap they should bring back the glowing logo....if they do though I hope the logo glows in a different way to differentiate the new and old models..

I wish Apple would put LTE cellular capability in the new M1X/M2 chip MBP line ups.

Let say when covid is over and we can travel freely after this, i prefer to use my own built in LTE instead of tethering to my iphone or ipad as this will drain more battery.

And i don’t want to buy a 4G LTE mobile router around because need to carry powerbank to charge it also - > extra baggage

I hope that it is not too flat! I remember have so much issues picking up the Razer designed laptops which were flat edged

oh yes if they include LTE that would be a dream!

haha i guess it'll be something like iphone 11 to 12... its sharper but nice to hold and feels slimmer too...
