Hi, I have purchased my first iPad and may I know if there is any recommended settings or guides I can follow to set up my new iPad? Thanks.

To turn off wifi and bluetooth without going into the Settings.

Just turn on Airplane mode.

Turning off Wifi and Bluetooth on the swipe down menu doesnt actually turn them off.

Really? So it means if I just turn off WiFi and Bluetooth, they are still running in low power mode?

if im not mistaken.. they will stay turn off for a certain period of time only..

after tht.. they will turn thmselves on again..

Setup apple id, locate device, and cloud storage for backup. In case something happens to your ipad, at least u still have the data, and ability to track or remote lock/wipe

that's true.. but that is only if you are turning it off from the using the shortcut but pulling down from the top right of the screen.
i think it should be shown somewhere that it only turned off for a period of time.. 24 hours or 12 hours..

unless u go to the setting to turn off which it will not turn on by itself.
