My perspective: UTP students have had a pretty good reputation in the past. Not sure about now la, but so what even if got a few bad apples. Of course if the GM had an issue with the attitude of students that came to intern with him then he should have taken it up with the university authorities in a civil manner la. Professional courtesy: reflects on his company reputation too. One thing Mr GM forgot perhaps is that in the job market sometimes it's a buyer's market, other times it's a seller's market. A little humility helps. A job interview goes two ways actually: company also has to convince a talented candidate that it is a good place to have a career or gain experience. A company can only grow with the right talent.

He make LinkedIn turn into Kopitiam with his negativity and spread hikayat salju kanda.

That's my point. He was snobby and arrogant to the UTP students, but his public conduct only turned off potential experienced people. So end up he loses more than he would gain. I'm pretty sure he would argue he still makes money, but imagine how much more his company could grow if he could attract amazing people. I guess his vessel isn't big enough to see that.
