Hi all, anyone feel the s21Ultra is pretty warm after few minutes use?

My normal usage like web browsing, social apps(fb,whatsapp), shopee, watching youtube, all causing my s21ultra feel quite warm and it's uncomfortable to hold it long. is that normal?

Ofcoz, using camera and gaming make my device burning.

coming from note 8, and my note 8 only get hot when gaming, normal use quite cool. I suspect I got the defect unit

Did check the apps usage, nothing abnormal.
I put most of the apps to sleeping and I think it help a bit.

haha, tried use FHD and 60hz, and already used to 120 hz so hard go back to 60hz mode.
Thanks for advice and I felt it cooler bit in 60hz FHD.

So far no much ppl complaining the phone getting hot in normal use, except gaming and using camera.
Probably using a phone case better, now I didn't use phone case so my hand direct contact on phone ,can felt the heat on metal phone frame quite warm.

I use CPU monitor app to check temperature, normal usage CPU about 36-40'c, battery around 35-37'c.
No yet check the temperature while gaming/taking photo, but i guess can go up to 45 easily

I don't like malaysia samsung exynos also.
My Note8 is HK set with snapdragon, quite cooling for normal use.
But this time SD888 overheating issue is really bad, performance exynos 2100 not too far from SD888 so I just give it a try.

Update with some screen capture with CPU monitor app,

idle : CPU 33'c Bat 32'c (cool)
after few mins normal use : CPU 41'c Bat 37'c (quite warm to hold)
few mins camera : CPU 44'c Bat 40'c (phone is burning)

Hi, I feel my phone quite warm even only light use, you can check my previous post.

over night standby time quite bad for me, briefly 5~8 %.
Probably should schedule a routine task to turn off sync or everything for night.

that interesting, got my phone on 30th Jan, but I just did a factory reset and wipe cache partition, have to go through the battery learning pattern again.

My S21U like start burning just 2,3 mins camera.

Just sharing, nillkin phone case no bad to use.
Bought 2 types and I feel really good quality, highly recommended .haha

With camera protector that one looks bulky, but actual feel surprisingly quite ok.

Yes, my s21u also quite easy to get warm and hot at beginning. Getting a bit better after few days usage. Still quite warm but more acceptable or maybe i used to it already 😂

Use 60hz and FHD+ also can help the phone stay cool, but most of time i keep 120hz and QHD+… hahah

Feel my old phone 60hz so laggy... Nvr feel that before 😂 really cant go back to 60hz
