Maybe next year exynos with amd gpu can finally catch up to SD's adreno I'm upgrading from note20u 990 cause at the very least they seem to have improved battery performance. This phone is definitely not the one to get if one is a hardcore gamer.
Why note wait for the next note? Note20U doesn't seem justified the cost of upgrade
for me i will charge it as quick, until one extend battery no good, by then for sure you either replace new battery or change new phone loh. why the fuss trying to maintain the battery life?
If I sell you one galaxy s21 that charges at 60w and another at 25w, both at the same price. Its gonna be plain obvious which one you will take.
The truth is, without Huawei, Samsung no longer has any competitions in the mass consumer market. Their sole competitor is Apple and since they only offer 20w charging speed, why bother?
If Huawei got GMS. I would really consider to try to get P50
It is decent. Can use on daily basis. Only buy if you game heavily ya. Because it is quite heavy and the armor casing cannot fully protect the phone due to air trigger. Unless you dont need air trigger, then can buy protective case.
The UI ok? Got updates? Yours is the normal version or strix?

About to put my order for S21 Ultra 512GB after using Note 8 for the past 3 years plus.
My only driving force to upgrade is my Note 8 64GB is always full.
Apart from that, light gaming, photography and most importantly S-Pen!
I think its a good upgrade. What you guys think?
Me too bro. Phone is usually nearly full. Last time thought 64gb was enough...
I guess you guys didn't read the whole article. No. The author already mentioned that the tested phone is exynos 2100 variant.
Other than the improved chipset, the biggest factor that contributing to this great battery life is the LTPO screen. Variable refresh rate is fantastic for browsing endurance!
Browsing endurance is good. Gaming is not. Depends on your preferences
if want to mainly gaming just buy gaming phone laa....why bother with samsung..there are tons of gaming phone out there...no use complaining gaming drain battery as it was not meant for continuos gaming session...
If going with this mentality, those people complaining camera lousy can go buy DSLR?
Why bother buying a 5k phone when you can get a 1k phone + 2k laptop + 2k Digital camera?
At the moment it is difficult to have one solution for all. Back then i also thinking why no 1 good phone for gaming & good design. Ended bought ROG 3 strix for Rm2999 just for gaming. Now waiting for s21 ultra to replace my s10+ for daily use without game. If you use crossbody bag can fit 2 phones.
Is there any big differences than the RoG phone 3 ? very tempting but telco only have the strix
Exynos 2100. Switch into power saving mode will improve the GPU performance up to 30%. But the power saving mode will drain the battery much faster. What kind of sorcery is this!? Sounds like a bug.
Weird if playing games IRL SD888 is better. Is exynos cheating in the test?
My note 8 need to set game launcher to performance mode enable 60fps but battery drain like water. Tomorrow test see the power saving mode can help or not
Yeah. Korea and US customers enjoying with SD 😬 but still way better than horrible 990. I really hate Samsung double variant with double style of thermal cooling system. Moreover priced reduce in US but expensive in Malaysia
Please dont rely in this single youtube. I watched many youtubes. Most said 888 almost same as Exynos ... sd865 still the best in term of stability and power saving. This youtube makes you scare, it said Exynos temperature spiked up to 68deg celcius. I am afraid he get the defect unit to test. Jerry passed the phone to him after tortured kut. Black only good when the phone will be used in total naked.
It's power saving and on par when both not yet throttle.
After throttling is GG. Not just this video.
If you don't game much then it's no difference as the power saving way better than last time and the only thing that could push the phone to throttle is gaming
