I know some people are hoo-haa-ing about exynos 2100 inferior performance compared to snapdragon 888, after watching Mr. Whosetheboss video.

But here's another review video from another tech youtuber, Booredatwork.com, who is saying otherwise. People asked him down the comment, said why his result is different with Mr.whosetheboss. He replied he doesn't know. LOL. And some people suspected that there's either something wrong with Mr.whosetheboss phone, or he is misleading.

So who should I believe? I believe the one who did the real life test, which is Booredatwork.com. I am not saying that Mr.whosetheboss testing is false. But his conclusion is all based on the benchmark apps. Heck. He didn't even play any games on his phones to test it out. He just keep using different beanchmark apps to test those phones again and again. And we all know those benchmark scores results do not represent the real life experience. On paper, yes. SD888 beat down Exynos 2100. But in real life performance, both of them are almost the same. Do we buy smart phone based on those numbers and figure? Or do we buy the smartphone that suits us the best? I dunno you guys. But for me, I don't really care anymore. It's not like I am using the phone to join some speed contests. As long as I am satisfied with its performance in my daily life, then it's a good phone. Period.

mrwhosetheboss tested using benchmark test to stress the phone, which doent really replicate avg person usage tbh

for normal use, mali is more than enough, unless one needs to play game like genshin impact on high settings for long, then better get SD or iphone

however, exynos has more than just gpu different with SD, yet many dont test n show them, e.g. ISP, signal strength

benchmark is the best way to compare under controlled circumstances.

Exyonos has fought to close the gap as much as possible and even managed to exceed SD in CPU, stability test under some software glitch - under power saving mode. Temp and battery is on par and the only drawback is the GPU now which is going to sort out with AMD collab next round. In mrwhosetheboss video, he even agreed exynos improved tremendously but unfortunately, again the GPU culprit.

As an average consumer, I'm already very happy with it since I m not a hard-core gamer which I too believe majority of us, can close an eye to it with local warranty in place.

Seems like S21+ is the least popular among the S21 series laugh.gif
*
hahahaha

kinda like a juiced up S21 without extra perks unlike the ultra laugh.gif

QUOTE(Azureknight94 @ Feb 6 2021, 08:07 PM)
But honestly the exynos this year has definitely done well enough especially in battery performance that I'm not really bothered by the whole comparison anymore sweat.gif there was a point in time last year I almost sold my s20u to get an s20plus SD laugh.gif that was how bad the 990 and s20u was.
*
haha deng

guess i was lucky then laugh.gif

took even cheaper SD 20 ultra last 2 weeks and skip S21 all together

my impression with exynos has tarnished so badly that i dont believe any longer till AMD hop in the camp

Yes. I did finish watching his video. Why you asked? You thought I would simply comment on something that I do not watch? Lol.

Don't get me wrong. I have nothing against his result. As the matter of fact, I kind of expected that outcome. But as I already mentioned above, I prefer the one that focus on real life test. There's a lot of benchmark test videos out there before him, which already proved that SD888 is better. So you can say I am kind of disappointed to see that he is also doing the same test in his video. But kudos to him to find out the difference of camera performance between these 2 variants. That's something new and I appreciate it.

Back into the old days, I would still care about those tests. But now, not so much anymore. I am more interested at the real life experience. After all, I am not a tech reviewer. I am just a regular consumer. As simple as that.

I've used Samsung phone Z Fold2 and tablet S7+ with last gen SD 865+ processors and as far as differences go in real world, none. In fact, I'm surprised on how buttery smooth the experience has been and still is on the latest OneUI 3.1 on the S21 Ultra. Battery life is great, screen is damn sharp and bright. Don't know what's the fuss is all about sometimes with dudes trying to compare everything

Since you have advised on this twice I can’t help but ask. How does it make a difference if I delete my registered fingerprint before or after applying the new screen protector?
