FINALLY!!!

Proud owner of E:TW Special Forces Edition. Just went to tsb.com.my for collection last Saturday.

Updates from Steam took me no more than 4h, just redirect the server to Singapore. I do not know how long it actually takes since I launch the steam and went away for dinner+TV show+Wii and when I came back it is finished updating.

Right now at Episode 4 of Road to Independence, no CTD bug (so far). I am to take Quebec & (forgot) right now.

with my NX9600GT, 1024x768 resolution on my 15" LCD (HE JUST WON'T DIE, I WANT A 19/20" WIDE SCREEN!! @_@), I am only experiencing lag when the battle involves 30+ units.

Yes and no.
I tried with assault on city/town/location and it is working.
Just send 2 waves of army to one location. wait for the blockade and there will be a message to you saying your path is blocked. then proceed to assault with the 1st wave of the army. Then you will be able to get aid from 2nd wave.

the same technique does not work on open field battles.

They would need to work very hard to tackle the CTD problem, since this problem only affected certain players.

I have seen that Gormaz had a hard time on this issue but I am already running for more than 30 turns and I never encounter ANY problem mentioned.

It is hard to justify.

Refer to my 2nd RIG below. I have 2gb + 9600GT and I never encounter any CTD issues. Sound issue, for me is not a big deal as I turn them off when I play. In fact, the developer are taking up their responsibility in remedy the CTD problem.

I take 5 full load troops to India and able to conquer the entire region, start by eliminating the Marathas followed by Mughals. Marathas was easy thou and I only received resistance from Mughals, since most of the lower India are accessible by sea. Mughals is difficult as I need to walk my troops to the inner portion of the region.

I leave the Persia alone.

Now I am going back to Europe to take down the annoying Poland-Lithuania
