Just got the game off Steam's 66% off Total War. Can't see any multiplayer games though. Is it region limited? Does anyone play this game?

Hmm, seems it works when I change my Steam download region to on of the states in the US.

Any of you guys able to play multiplayer games without switching download regions to US locations? Empire is the only game I have on Steam that requires this.
