What's wrong with confronting people about problems and solving them, as long as they're done politely?
Not every confrontation must be to pick a fight.

It's COVID-19 time. Queueing up, wearing masks etc should already be a norm by now.
You see someone cutting your queue, would you just keep quiet?

And holy **** the example you gave, if your housemate's music is loud, you have to involve your landlord instead of FIRST trying to talk to your housemate?
