Since yesterday I experienced unable to receive some of the call, no missed call at all
then received sms from maxis told me got missed call

Luckily I severed all ties with Maxis since last month. Fed up with their snobbish attitudes and reluctance to take care of long time customers.

Too many packet loss now... My game is teleporting here there...

With maxis postpaid just hit 10 year mark , plan to get more affordable option like hotlink postpaid

Cs saying number from maxis postpaid not eligible transfer to hotlink I thought they were same company haha then I say okay lah since cs also makan gaji jer

Today another cs call me free gift for both number blah blah blah I say I don't needed only thing I want remain my number change to hotlink postpaid , cs then say try to help me transfer , results still cannot be transferred

And offer me another option remain my 98 RM 30 discount for 6 month another line change to sub line RM 48 ignore the RM 30 discount every month still had to pay RM 160

Then I told cs I guess no need so much hassle 😂😂
Once I transfer to other telco month later port back to hotlink postpaid or vise versa

Maxshyt really getting shytier and shytier. 4G keep on full bar but even browsing also not loading. Have been experiencing this for the past 2 months

DiGi and U Mobile. Both so far have good coverage and decent speeds at where I'm working and living. Previously, my area in KD no Maxis coverage if inside the house. Outside OK. Reported to Maxis for many years and still no action. It seems to be a dead spot in my area. Few months no action acceptable but many years is not acceptable! And Maxis ain't cheap too. Cannot imagine why another telco can offer cheaper plans but have good coverage even inside the house. Maxis no shame?

Crap thing as usual. Ask me to restart my phone. Indeed, when restart, it will be ok. But when i move from one area to another, shyt happen again. Dont tell me they expect me to restart my phone everytime ?

oh.. DiGi mostly i have coverage. Sometimes only dont have. My maxis at my sisters house at Sect14 no line one inside. lol. outside little only like 1 bar. And then no port at the back to install unifi, last time got, but cancelled ad.. Sigh. Maxis so far for me is okay, only sometimes sucky a bit. lol

1st option, i dont think they will do anything about that.
2nd option, still in contract
3rd option, im having digi as backup

I changed from Maxis to Digi now. It seems Digi has better connection and better coverage too. On my Iphone 12 Pro Max, even 1 bar, can load 1080p video. Impressive.

in some areas, especially tall building [high floors >10-20] i notice maxis 4g totally weak only EDGE. Whereelse Digi even in fact Umobile can get full 4G or marginal 4G still. This is the experience i had in KL, PJ condos/business towers. However, if speed Maxis i can say is blazingly fast or better than Digi or Umobile but of course subject to location.

For new residential place, Maxis unfortunately have bad signal but what caught my suprise was DIGI and even Umobile sometimes they have tower newly setup in a new housing community....bravo.

Yes, i think this very much depending on area. Of course I can see U and Digi both are aggressively improving their coverage in which good news too!

for curiosity, tested out how fast Maxis 4G speed can I achieve in the morning. Caught my surprise that I can go as fast as fiber-optic speeds... 245mbps..LOL...with 3 bar 4G signal.



Tried DiGi on the same model only max around 50mbps....

In terms of speed, yeah maxis is ahead. But the stability is dropping to hell of 18th level.

Is it only me or anyone else having problem doing simpler task like online transfer using maxis ? Each and every time connection lost. Having no problem doing it on wifi... Maxis really fail to the max
