Hi People!

I am currently looking for somewhere that will fix my iPad screen under apples warranty. It has developed a dead pixel. However most authorised apple resellers will only exchange it for a hefty price and not repair it.

Ideally I don't want to go to any independent repair shops, since mine is still under apples warranty.

Where can I take it?

If under warranty, why need to pay?

How do you repair a dead pixel? The only way is to change the screen and by them charging a price for the display change means dead pixels (not exceeding a certain number) are not covered by warranty.

I remember my Dell laptop, I found a dead ant in the LCD soon after I bought it and they thought it was a dead pixel and refused to replace it since the area affected was less than 4 pixels, if I remember correctly.

contact apple support (online) first

i just RMA my ipad air 4 to iFix , took them a week and just done. Exchange with new set. under warranty. zero pay.

dunno iFix is state base or malaysia base tho..
