Hi. Sorry if the topic is repetitive but I haven't been able to find up-to-date student reviews on the MBBS degrees.

Right now, I'm narrowing it down to UTAR, SEGi and maybe UoC.

UTAR: The cheapest so far but I think facilities might not be so great compared to other universities.
SEGi: Clinical is in Sibu. I'm not sure if its misconception, but to my knowledge, not much variety in terms of cases there since its a smaller town.
*UoC: Haven't heard much about it.

Also, if there's any that you guys can recommend, that aren't on my list, please do let me know. I know IMU and Monash are among the best, but the tuition fees are among the highest among all and I'm not comfortable spending so much (yes, i know. medicine, the irony.)

Some info: Taking Foundation in Science now, in my final sem (~3.9 GPA).

I heard public universities are cheaper and alright, but considering the quota, my GPA isnt that great, and that I didn't take matrics, I heard my chances aren't that great of getting in.

Please let me know your experiences there or if you have any suggestions =] Thanks!

Whats UoC?

My advice is to apply to IPTA anyway even if you don’t think you’d get in.

Post in serious kopitiam or education essential else u gonna get trolled.

Med grads are oversaturated now fyi. No longer the government is able to guarantee you a job. Nor it’s a good paying one anymore.

So if u *can’t* make it any local uni or get scholarship for mbbs just scrap that thought and do something else.

Computer science is the way to go nowadays. Stop getting stuck in the 80s mindset where doctor engineers lawyer are the only good paying job.
