Hi all,
I recently got engaged and is currently planning for my wedding in either late 2021 or early 2022 depending on the covid situation... we'll see this goes. So what got me started was you know, researching all the wedding related stuff and I came across to one venue where I like it very much.
Only problem is that, one of my friend, not that close, havent spoken to him for close to 8 years or maybe just an acquaintance, and he's still my facebook friend today, held his wedding at the same venue back in 2019. I went through his photos, decorations and flow and I liked it very much.
Would it be odd or wrong to choose the same venue, photographer and some of the stuff for our own wedding since theirs has exactly what I want.
I'm not sure if I'm a lazy wedding planner but after coming across so many weddings pictures and venues on the internet, I found out that I like exactly how they run their wedding. This is of course also due to many factors that are aligned to my personal preferences such as budget, the venue, style, flow and the guests ( mine has approx 100 - 120 pax only ) which is ideal in this place or what I called as an "intimate wedding" only catered to close family, friends and colleagues. Furthermore, the place where I stay have limited number of places to run a good small scale wedding...
What's your thought about this?
I asked my fiancee about this but she said I'm thinking too much since we're not really close but I do share a small circle of friends with him though.
