i thought hasbro's MP starscream was a wallmart exclusive. any news when it'll come to our shores?

wow. unless you're really obsess with OP, it's just a waste imo. alt prime is not one of the better alternator molds around. it could've been better. it's not really worthed to buy him at goreng price if you simply want an alternator. unless of course, you're really obsess with OP/nemesis like undici . but then again, undici didn't buy it at goreng price.

listen to undici you guys, you want to collect, fine. but don't overdue it to the point that you'd suffer.

ooo...so i didn't mistake it.

you should be saying "coz me to loose RM300 for an MP01", not the other way around . got me confused there.

anyway, RM300 is a good price for BIB MP01. not too bad. plus, MP01 is a good purchase anyway . could be worst. "no sacrifies, no glory" right?

@undici: as i remembered, the cheapest MP04 was about RM480. so RM500 isn't that bad.

ok before i start posting in garage sales, i want to survey here.

i feel the urge to get alternators swindle(jeep), dead end (viper) and ravage (jaguar) to accompany my autobots. therefore, i want to trade my MIB MP01 for all 3 of them with the same condition. trading only, not selling. 3 alts for 1 MP01, more than fair i think.

alternator/BT OP is red and nemesis prime is black.

both BT and alternator prime/nemesis prime is plastic. but BT version has better paint job that made it look like metal.

started out with only a few. then suddenly BAM!! the only person i know in these parts that bought the majority of his collections in merely a few months.

wow, even before the movie hype that thing is even more expensive than MP01. i'm guessing plus/minus rm500. could even go for nearly Rm600 or even more. nice haul. keep it, it's really hard to find.

you can get the takara smokestack and get rid of hasbro's wussy smokestack.

but the hasbro's version is rarer than an MP04. plus, it has a BLACK gun.

MP01 value has dropped a bit since the large shipment of defect(the leg) MP01 last year. so this hasbro's is even more valuable.

yes, MP01 was expensive at some point. but after MP04 and the defect MP01, the price drop down. My defect MP01 was rm280, but at that time, this hasbro's is nearly rm600. . this was last year.

yeah i thought of buying the trailer too. but MP01+trailer is more expensive than MP04. so i dump the idea. how much was the trailer anyway? forgot already.

not that bad la. he's only "officially" known as shockblast. but we all know he was suppose to be shockwave (using shockwave head, duh!). i always refer to my meister as jazz. heck, i'm planning to change his plate to "jazz". whn i'm not too lazy.

the RX-8 and the Mustang mold is the best alternator mold. good design, good transformation and good proportion. a must have!!!

yeah, this thread has gone crazy. it's not about sharing and discussing anymore. . really disappointed.

you mean you can't fold the hands as in the pictures? check the elbow. it has two joints. you need to fold the one nearest to the shoulder.

ok, i understand the problem now. i had this problem too when i 1st got my grimlock. anyway, what you need to do is:

- check manual for reference
- note how the elbow is jointed
- you need to fold the hand at the elbow joint nearest to the shoulder. if you fold the other one, the hands won't be able to fold correctly.

same here with my meister. i think this prob only affect alt series, since bt is painted. lighter fluid would help clean it a bit.

i've used lighter fluids to clean my gundams. never get yellowish. alternators are still colour molded plastics, i don't see the difference. maybe i'll give it a try tonight.
