QUOTE(WinkyJr @ Jan 11 2021, 01:35 PM)
As tenant, is there a way to avoid from getting high rent increase from owner? like, maybe state in agreement that owner cannot increase rent more than 30% every year?
As owner, is it against the law if we want to increase rent as much as we want? provided there is no mention in agreement about rent limit between owner and tenant.

Is it normal to mention rent increase limit in agreement?

It's between the tenant and landlord. You can specify, but the landlord may disagree.
