Vodafone has always worked well for me. Also good for going to multiple countries in Europe because you can roam with one SIM card at reasonable rates.

Maxis 3G? Seriously? I reckon only so so.. Probably DiGi will fight for it since losing out on the 3G license..

8? t-mob, orange, virgin, o2, vodafone and 3, they are the 5 major telcos.

all got good and bad. o2 free minutes can be used to make international call through 0840XXX, but not other telcos yet they are cancelling that and long weekend (thousands minutes on weekend to local no. or o2 no.), orange comes with orange wed (buy one get one free cinema ticket on wed) and 2000 minutes free on weekend, 3 gives good phone at good cheap standard price (not through cash back route) but phones are locked to 3, vodafone comes with stop the clock (60 minutes for 3 minutes off peak and weekend), so on and so on.

since when carphone warehouse has became a telco in UK? they are just 3rd party dealer / provider.

Added on August 30, 2007, 4:38 am02 for UK, that is something great really.

and fair enough for t-mob in germany and orange in france to get it.

According to Wikipedia, number portability is coming to Malaysia in 2008 so you can switch and keep your number biggrin.gif
