i'm thinking to install water cooling system on one of my xeon server and place in data center but i'm not so sure how secure is it.

any sifu can advice and share your experience ?

i never seen / heard a datacenter using water cooling.. which WC can fit in 1U rack?

Why do you need water cooling for a server?

Liquid cooling got low chances can leaking thus can spoil your hardware especially hard disk... seriously not advisable in server environment where data is outmost important....

I believe you need solution like this. It was designed by data center. I planning to mod it to my CPU too but still trying to find out the cost of the liquid.

Standard AIO or custom-made water-cooling solution is not so secure and 100% safe to your hardware. Recommended life-span for AIO was 4~5 years. I got one buddy last time using custom-made water-cooling solution, the pipe break and water leak out just 2 year+. Some more he was on holiday that time. By time come back, everything is gone. Lucky the mom was at home else might cause short-circuit or fire and worst case the whole house burn to the ground.
