1. HK people protested because the pro-CCP government wanted to implement laws that allow HK people to be extricated to CN.
2. Democracy is actually dying in HK because of the laws passed that allows the government to arrest opposition without the courts which means means the ruling government can suppress opposition.
3. The Trumptards rioters were trying to overturn the democratically run election results.

By focusing only on the riots, CCP buttlickers are trying to distract people from how they are REALLY going to destroy democracy in HK. I'm not surprise such article is coming from TheStar though.
