I bought a Teclast Tablet Android M18[U] on 11-11-2020 and on 26-Dec-2020, it stopped working. The screen is totally black (probably the backlighting stopped working).

Since I bought this from Lazada, I went back to Lazada to find out how I can get help from their Customer Service support as they have no service center in Malaysia.

On Lazada, I was directed to use the Teclast chat, so I contacted them thru chat and explained my problem as clearly as possible as well as submitted the photos. At the same time, I also connected with Teclast on their official website and submitted a request for (After Sales) Customer Service, and provided all the information (S/N, Invoice #, etc. etc.) . On the chat, I got a reply that I should send an email to lazada@sk1999.com and aftersale@sk1999.com with the photos and videos to describe my problem. I did that and got a error on the aftersale@sk1999.com (looks like the email server for that is either not recognizing the address or there's issue with the mailbox) but the email to lazada@sk1999.com went thru. It has been more than a week after I haven't received any reply and I am getting frustrated. So I contacted Lazada to ask if they could help. I was super pissed off when I was told that they can't do anything as this product was ordered more than 14days and the warranty has to be handled by Teclast and there's NOTHING LAZADA can do about it.

I told Lazada that they have an obligation to check the integrity of their supplier/seller, but I don't think they hear me at all.

So my advice to all of you out there. Be extremely careful when you decide to purchase anything from Lazada, especially when the product is shipped from another country and the seller has no service center. Damn bloody pissed!!!

look like shopee is much better than lazada for warranty claim.
i bought smart band with 1 year warranty from seller (oversea), after 6 month my smart band die off, contact seller but he ignore.
So make direct complaint to shopee with proof of conversations, malfunction device, after week investigation, shopee refund me.

trreat this as a lesson learnt. I had the same issue. Sent multiples emails but no replies even a sigle one.

Chat with them on Lazada Chat, after complained about the after sales service, no more reply.

They only focus on selling, but not after sales service. If you don't mind the after sales service, then go ahead to buy. Teclast tablets builts are nice..

Be careful when buying cheap China brand directly. This is what you'll get. At least buy from Malaysia reseller they might help you to RMA.

If you used a credit card for the purchase, you could try getting a refund from your credit card company.

Honestly electronics devices like this better for you to buy directly in shop like rather than buying online

Especially this kind of unknown brand with unknown origin, susah for you to claim warranty if something happen

Buy in store at least if you got keep the receipt and box you still can claim warranty very easily

I also own teclast in the past and it died within 2 years. So no more teclast for me...cheap china brand with no QC. Better buy amazon firehd but it riddled with ads

Anyway i think u vent ur anger at the wrong channel la....it's totally not lazada issue to handle warranty etc ...shud totally blame teclast or the seller/shop

Consider no warranty since ship back costly also. The performance of their tablet is quite bad if you compare with branded tablet but the price is much cheaper. That's the risk we have to take.
