Air Cond installation, more neat installation ?

currently i see how people install the air cond piping connecting to outdoor compressor, they will just simply hammer a hole at the wall for aircond piping to go through then cover it back with plaster.
can we do something more neat like a small coring and place a sleeve for pipe. don't mind to pay slightly more.
but if im using sleeve, how do i completely seal it up so that no cockroach can crawl between walls?
my first thought is use something like PU sealant but unfriendly to remove if they time need to replace the piping.

In the installation manual the AC mfg recommend using putty. See the section Wall Penetration and Installation of Protection Pipe The hole typically is a 3x3 inch for the 2 gas pipe (with insulation) + water drain pipe + electrical conduit (IDU-ODU cables) This post has been edited by ceo684: Jan 9 2021, 11:32 AM Attached File(s)
