Apply from gov website . Then go putrajaya pick up the report. Alot visa stuff need this police report one.

Many company don’t even bother to do background check lah especially if they do mass hiring coz too busy to check 1 by 1.

Start small start simple. Private all your social media accounts. Do a google search and see what else shows up. I"ve heard of managers of 2 different PLC companies that told me checking up on social media history is a thing these days.

The home ministry to apply....it's a requirement if you are doing security gig overseas prove you don't have criminal records, what jobs you applying? Military contractor?

that's not criminal record. but it'll be in police record for non criminal offences like traffic offenses, etc

criminals is like u go whack someone, threaten ppl, human trafficking, maksiat cases, and obviously other worse cases

police report is not enough to take any action to you.

Aus one need , even working holiday visa for Aus also need. NZ when I apply for work visa also need police clearance.

why need self background check? ts used to go jail before doing criminal things then now all out sudden want to check?

This! Forget about background check and all if you didn't do dodgy thing. Reverse search on yourself to make sure no dodgy things come out. When you get someone's name + uni/work place keywords, you'll be amazed what you can find out there in the net especially for millennials. I always do that when I hire new staffs.

And always reverse search yourself and ensure nothing is in public view. Google does cache so even you delete today, the records might be there for a while.

Haha, some big companies will require macam2 document from you before you joined them but trust me, they don’t bother to do a background check. They’ll just believe whatever you give them. True story bro.

The best is to check at the nearest Police Station.

Usually outsource to vendor to do background check. Bank negara made it mandatory for financial institutions to check 7 years working history and give these vendors money to earn. Lol.
