What I got today was "WHATSAPP FORCES USERS TO AGREE TO SHARE PRIVATE DATA, INCLUDING PHONE NUMBER WITH FACEBOOK". https://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/ga...y-b1783880.html That's all. Can't cancel but to accept it only or else can't proceed to use the App.

QUOTE(halotaikor. @ Jan 13 2021, 07:54 AM) I think you missunderstood.WhatsApp didn't integrated with Chrome. Chrome always show the app you recently shared link to. I believe you recently shared a link from Chrome to WhatsApp, that why you are seeing the WhatsApp icon. Try to share link from Chrome to whatever app, like Facebook/Telegram/Messenger. You will found that the icon will changed to the app ---------------- P/S: Had you been using iOS for a very long and this is your first time using Android? QUOTE(RectangleX @ Jan 9 2021, 01:28 PM) WhatsApp is a must, especially for businesses nowadays, other messaging App just not up to it in terms of users crowd. I installed Signal few days back. It is gaining traction, can see my contact list in Signal growing fast in just 3 days. As more people go on Signal, the usage will start shifting there. In terms of user experience, 99% same (from my point of view). |

/another paranoid dude...
if you click the icon, it will show the list of the app, instead of just whatsapp.. I mean, google and facebook/whatsapp regularly analyze your data and share with their partner anyway lol |

That's a very bad move by Whatsapp. I'm sure that they will lose their reputation with this new privacy policy. |
