I'm new to MAC. Do MAC need an antivirus software? I googled alot and it seems it's recommended to install Antivirus.

Can I have your recommendation? If required, what is the best antivirus? Based on online research, the best is Intego (but seems not popular in Malaysia) and next is Bitdefender.

if you visit ahem websites, yes u need antivirus. normal browsing no need antivirus

My office Macbook Pro uses Symantec (because it's on a corporate plan) but on my personal Mac Mini and MBA, I use AVG.
