Hi Sifus please suggest me a good 4k gaming monitor for my ps4 pro. My budget is around RM1.2k +/- .

RM 1.2k is too low budget, this budget not even easier to get for a good 1440p gaming monitor.

You aim for 4K gaming monitor in RM 1.2k? Maybe have at TaoBao those China brand monitor. For well known good 4K gaming monitor - not exist.

You plan to use for PS4 only? Why not just go for TV instead of Monitor.

If you also plan to use for PC, very sorry I had no recommendation as to me 4K in Windows 10 is not good, reason upscale is a must else it is way too tiny font and everything to see.
Windows 10 upscale still very bad, all classic apps will appear blur.

I always recommended 1440p monitor for PC as no upscale is required and it is very solid sharp already and not too stress for PC gaming as well.

yeah planned to use only for Ps4 pro. As i find TV straining my eyes for longer period. I dont plan to use for PC. Looking for 4k monitor just for PS4 pro

All modern TV had gaming mode, once you enter to gaming mode, I find it is ok.

Sorry for 4K monitor, I never survey on 4K monitor in details.

To me PS is best suite with TV instead of Monitor.

I see...At the moment I already have Sony 4k monitor TV but looking for smaller monitor which can reduce my eye strain thats why was asking for opinion.

I think seldom people buy 4K monitor, some more for PS.

I think you need relied on internet reviewer.

Some great brand you can consider - LG, Dell.

I not recommending Asus as this brand is always over price. It is also good but price wise not.

I still recommended LG or Dell.

For PC usage, I not sure on PS. You may consider LG UltraGear Gaming Monitor 27" 27GL850 2560x1440 144hz NanoIPS HDR.
I am using this, price around RM 1.7k ~ RM 1.9k, depends on where you buy.

I not recommended Ultrawide monitor for you as Ultrawide is not support in PS.
Against I not sure PS4 support 1440p or not, if not wrong seems PS5 not support 1440p but only 1080p and 2160p (4K).

Abit late to the party, but I still respect TS for having proper budget planning in mind. The other recommended ones in this thread....although good, are way overbudget.

One of the more value for money (and within TS budget) should be the new Acer ET322QK monitor. I've seen this mentioned in several gaming reviews for the best 4k gaming monitors and they are quite positive.
