Can I use Samsung Adaptive Fast Charge(the original charger comes with Samsung Note 10+) to charge iPhone XR?
Will it damage the iPhone battery life?

Normally you can but you need to use either ipad cable or your orginal stock cable to do it. Seems XR supports fast charging. I charge my 7 plus all the time with android charging head coz the one delivered together is slow. But I avoid fast charger s my unit does not support it.

you can use any household power source to charge your iPhone and it will not kill the battery any faster.

Yes you can use it. But it will limit it to 20W charge only even if it capable to charge to up to 25W. It willl charge faster than the 5W standard chager.
