KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 4): The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) raided the premises of Prasarana Malaysia Bhd this morning.

As at the time of writing, it is not known the reason why the raid was conducted.

Last October, Prasarana said three of its officers were under investigation. However, it did not elaborate on why its officers were under investigation.

theedgemarkets.com has contacted Prasarana but it has yet to respond to queries.

Coincidently, Prasarana’s chairman Datuk Seri Tajuddin Abdul Rahman has called for a press conference at its headquarters at 4pm today.

The show-cause letter sighted by The Edge stated that Nizam showed signs of insubordination when the board and chairman instructed him to investigate MRCB George Kent.
