Xiaomi recently made its first Wi-Fi 6E router official. The Mi Router AX6000 is priced at CNY 599 (about $91) and is currently available for reservation in China and will be going on its first sale on January 8. It is chuck-full of next-get Wi-Fi features, which we will mention shortly. However, it's difficult to properly get a sense of the new technology, without a practical illustration. In a short clip, Xiaomi did just that, placing the Mi Router AX6000 in the center of a huge stadium and then testing the Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max and the recently-launched Xiaomi Mi 11 for Wi-Fi speed at different angles and distances. The goal was to see how much of the 800 Mbps broadband bandwidth going into the router would ultimately end-up transmitted to each phone.
Maybe I'll wait for AX6000 router to be out and a mature 3rd party global open source firmware before deciding to buy.
Still too new and don't want to use the Chinese based firmware scared full of spyware and backdoors inside. Even 3rd party China developed open source modded firmwares also not too trusting.
Need official and reputable English based firmwares from OpenWRT or Tomato to release their before getting convinced.

The way they to the mods to use VLAN tagging and setup the China version of the AX3600 very unprofessional and unreliable. Need to SSH into router change files this and that. Summore have to bear with all Chinese characters inside..

cisco have been spying on you, yet u never say anything about it.. thats what i call hypocrisy??
Open source firmwares such as OpenWRT and Tomato belongs to Cisco?
Open source means anyone can access the codes la and open for public. How are they related to Cisco? With proper knowledge you can tweak and change the codes yourself if you know what you're doing which puts you in full control.
How good you want the camera to be? You professional photographer?
The most important thing in a phone is the ability to tweak, enhance and secure your personal device as much as possible. Freedom to remove any bloatware and creatively use apps to achieve whatever you intend to do.
