Before posting this, I think I've watched every single review video on Youtube that I can regarding the 2, and it's really mixed comments of both of them. I personally love the looks / feel / color of the Silicone, and never really a fan of Leather, although I know leather is more like wine, the older it gets, the better it age.

Now, the price difference is almost 50+, I am almost deciding to go with the Silicone case, but my only worries is that the durability of the case, some people say it might chip and wear & tear after awhile, some say after months of using, still looks as good as new, I'm a very careful person, and I take good care of my stuff, does this mean Silicone Case would be the one for me ? Would appreciate advice and feedback before making my choices.

Try out third party silicone cases that have the same material as Apple Silicone case. Then u can decide if you want the original or the leather.

I personally always avoid silicone case. Though I never experience significant wear & tear, the biggest downside for me is its way too difficult to put inside pocket, especially tight pocket such as jeans pocket.

In contrast leather case can easily slide down into your pocket.

I'd rather get a rugged case. Apple products are expensive to repair. I also got myself UAG Rugged case for my iPhone 11. Its only an iPhone 11. Haha. But still... hahaha. Better safe than sorry. I never use silicone cases. Once fall down habis. Might as well not buy a case. 😂IMO la.. lol

Just get the leather case. Expensive, yes. But you won’t regret it.

In terms of lasting, the leather case is better. The silicone case is nice and smooth for me, but it tore at the corners after 4-5 months of use and then started peeling off. Although I must say it was the best feeling case I’ve used.

If you're gonna spend over RM200 for an ori Apple case, might as well go all out and get the Leather one.

If you really get so hard to decide, why not just buy Nomad Rugged Case?
It is half leather half silicone.

Just got mine. Love it! Nice balance between the price (I paid RM157 after discount) and the premium leather feel.

I'm using Nomad now, its not silicone at all, its much more tough than it but not hard like PC.

Bought this in shopee. Less than RM30 one case. Exact quality like the original. Its bad not to support Apple but too good not to get this.

They probably stole the blueprint from Apple factory and replicate the exact same. Not sure how it works but it definitely amazed me.

Apple leather case for sure. Been using since ip11 pmax days. No complaints
