I was wondering how do people utilise unused credit on your Hotlink account. Obviously it's a prepaid account. I used to purchase Internet data using the credit on my phone but for the past 2 years since I got a company phone, I don't need to purchase Internet data anymore as my company phone comes with data plan.

The credit on my Hotlink account keeps accumulating and at times it got close to RM500. I was looking at the Long Life plan where users only need to top up once in 1 year but that Long Life plan is no longer available. I was looking around to see if there is Cash back or something similar, things like transferring the credit or money in Hotlink to say ShopeePay for purchases on Shopee, or to use the credit to pump petrol at petrol stations. So far, there is nothing on Hotlink rewards. Most of the things offered on Hotlink rewards are quite useless to me.

Lately I had unloaded some of the unused credit on Hotlink on games via Google Play. So people, are there any other useful ways to unload the unused Hotlink credit other than on games? It would be good if Hotlink can refund the unused credit to users or perhaps introduce the Long Life plan again.

Or just sell as credit share (get another hotlink) and/or keep transferring between the two every 4-5 days

i had the same prob with you. RM550+ in credit

had that for few yrs already

but in the last 1 month i managed to used up all of it, and left with RM1.+ saja inside

u might wanna check your hotlink app, buy the GRABFOOD voucher and use to fill your stomach

i pretty much wasted almost rm 200 on the vouchers. buy it and keep it. its valid until march 2021 IIRC

2nd way is to buy shopee / lazada voucher. and spend it. on 12.12, hotlink made a crazy shopee deal. RM10 off (no min purchase) voucher at only RM 4.80... i think i spend around rm 100+ on this too (it was a 1 day offer only)

its not much, but heck, u have more enjoyment in steam rather than in hotlink. its RM70 hotlink credit = RM 50 steam wallet

the steam wallet u can easily sell at discounted rate if u dont plan to use it
