At kampung, just read about mikrotik n vlan600. I try 2 days before coming back to home town.. But failed. Should be straight forward, configured few time already.. Then read few people also got the problem. Any update those who try? can get mikrotik n vlan 600 working again? Need to configure RB4011 for hypptv port.

My VLAN 600 not working since 29th Dec

Technician just came today,

1. Replace STB (Silver -> White Box) = not working
2. Said my (Mikrotik) router not support, replace BTU with AZ Tech router = not working
3. Suspect defective unit, brought another one set of router + STB = still not working

So that's few hours spent today achieving nothing

And now I can't seem to use the new AZ Tech router to forward VLAN 500 to my Mikrotik, can't access Internet even after Mikrotik gets IP address from PPPoE

I believe something at the back end causing all this VLAN600 issue.

2. Mikrotik not supported - if not supported, then how come it's been working very well for nearly a year?  hmm.gif

Hopefully you can resolve the issue.

yala i also diam je lah, I mean if he can get it to work with TM own router at least I know it might be solved back on mikrotik using some config changes

I keep trying to get the technician to get the TM end to check / reset, but end up not much happening

Since he also went thru two sets of routers and STBs, he's still convinced something is wrong with the hardware, still trying to get more replacement STB to test

btw anyone using the new DS244WSGV VDSL modem with Mikrotik? need some reference on how to bridge the VLAN 500 to my Mikrotik

Update on my situation

2nd technician bring in new STB, reset the router and reconfigure, voila everything works
TM solved some backend VLAN 600 issue kot? whistling.gif whistling.gif

he told me "if you change your own IP and stuff I don't wanna come back to help you dy" puke.gif

Currently new setup HyppTV direct to the new AZ Technology DS244WSGV box, and I managed to forward VLAN 500 back to my Mikrotik

Any extra charges for this since it's 3rd party router?

I suffered similar experience recently? Router in store room, HyppTV STB & AP on living room, from TP-Link SG108E in store room, 1 cable carries VLAN 500 & 600 to living room, where a single TP-Link SG105E split it to AP & STB. It worked flawlessly for years until last month. Unable to make it work again, and un-willing to pull a second cable just for the STB, I gave up & bought Mi Box S to run Unifi TV app.

yeah probably something similar like mine, baguslah you got extra bandwidth to run Unifi TV app, I not looking forward to cut another 7~8Mbps from my 30Mbps line
