Thanks for the explanation. I'm using OpenVPN on Asus with Merlin fw. Also using router's DDNS. I read earlier post, someone write here that Asus DDNS not support IPv6? Torrent also not going to work because less people in IPv6? IPv6 can't communicate with IPv4?
*
Asus DDNS supports IPv6 - I only noticed from September 2021 though - you can check here http://iplookup.asus.com/nslookup.php

It's OpenVPN Server that doesn't support IPv6 https://openvpn.net/vpn-server-resources/li...-access-server/

I don't understand, OpenVPN doesn't support accepting incoming IPv6 but can still transport IPv6, does that mean it can?

I checked TM's 300mbps package is without it's tv channel. And someone mentioned within 12 months also going to be moved to private IP too, that would be suck.

Which means creating the VPN tunnel (connect to VPN server) needs IPv4. When the VPN tunnel has been created, IPv6 traffic can flow through the tunnel.

If i don't reboot my router at home, it will stays with the public ip.
*
If i'm not mistaken, your public IP will rotate - i notice my IP changed every 2-3 weeks. I am using DDNS, so the change is transparent on my end.

On OpenVPN App setting. I give 2 options-IPV4 and IPV6. OpenVPN able to lookup my resolve my Asus Domain but it is only trying to establish connection using IPV4 (towards my Asus router). But connection drop due to timeout.

As I said, after tunnel is created, IPv6 and IPv4 can both go through. But tunnel creation depends solely on IPv4. It can’t use IPv6 to create the tunnel.

Needs OpenVPN server to be updated to allow this.
