A transfer ID is what it meant literally. The port out is not completed yet. You are supposed to present that ID to your telco to finalize everything. It has nothing to do with the ports at your area. Your account is still active until the port out process is complete. So if the counter person gives you a counter offer, then take it. If she doesn't then by all means decide what you want to do then. You are not obliged to complete the port out if you don't want to.

Well this is good to know. I just got the transfer ID from Digi. Will go to TM point one of these days to see what they offer. This Digi people also one kind. They texted me about the port in request and then suddenly told me no port available. Then I gave them details of my current Unifi status and then suddenly said got port as they will just use the same port. So sudden U-turn. Does not instil any confidence in me.Don't overthink things.
