Does anyone got problem with TM doesn't give you the option to renew the current contract, instead they wanted you to end it and resub to another new package?
*
What kind of package are they offering? Lately, I haven't seen any interesting new promo from unifi.

Is it possible to get 300mbps package without the tv box? I feel laying $199 for a plan that I'm not going to use is a waste.

You should think about Maxis fiber 300mbps @ RM149.
Or, Celcom fiber 300mbps @ RM140, with RM21 rebate on the first 3 months plus getting TP Link AX10 router.

No maxis or celcom in my area. Only unifi

Weird, i just go to know my friend got offer 300Mbps for RM139 from TM centre. Anyone?
*
That is probably because your friend isn't a new registration? I know unifi do offer 'unannounced' packages for existing tm customers.

139, 300mbps without hyptv here

they are now doing contract renewal based. every donkey two years i will need to call them and says wanted to tie again with contract to get 139 pricing. else it will revert back to normal 300mbps pricing rm199
*
So you got the offer as an existing tm customer?

Very honest ans to you.
get 100mbps and buy your own router.
it will more than enough use.
300mbps only worth it if your household more than 8person only in a same time.
if i not mistaken M/C P2P controlled. unifi P2P are not block.
Time i'm not sure as i didnt use Time

Thanks for the advice.
I appreciate it.

How to check if my area is under coverage?

Googled, check unifi website etc. Don't even have a simple link to check for coverage. Google links to some random unifi resellers site, which request for my details before allowing me to check. No way I'm going to give my details to some dodgy looking site.

Cmon tmnet, 2021 already still behaving like some useless chekai company.

Here's a fun method.
Look outside your house and see the telephone poles nearby.
If there is a big black box (A4 size) with black and yellow cable coming out of it, then congrats, you have unifi fibre coverage.

Hai..anyone can give me a suggestion how to get cheaper price for 100mbps + unifi tv?
*
For new registration, I think its impossible.
But if you're previously on streamyx package, then they may give a discounted offer. Another alternative is to transfer ownership from someone else's account who has a cheap plan.
