Regular Senior Member 1,205 posts Joined: Aug 2014	Anybody experience extreme lag recently on 1.9.1.9 Dns? it used to be quite zappy until recently, I was so frustrated thought its network issue, changed thr dns and things are zappy again.

Regular Senior Member 1,205 posts Joined: Aug 2014	Anybody noticed Unifi start giving IP address 60.x.x.x again? It has not been given for such a long time, always give 175.x.x.x which is quite inferior in speed. Their 60.x.x.x is top tier.

Regular Senior Member 1,205 posts Joined: Aug 2014	Is there any reason why Unifi recently made my modem getting static first 3 portions of the IP address? Like 60.50.21.x, it started in few weeks ago, now no matter how u restart the modem u get 60.50.21.x. It used to be quite random, usually only first part is constant like 175.x.x.x where X is variable.

Regular Senior Member 1,205 posts Joined: Aug 2014	Whats the fastest DNS now on Unifi? If you use Unifi own DNS it has fewer hops on Tracert than foreign Dns but I'm starting to feel latency with TM Dns.

It used to be there is a MyTM portal back then where you change change all these things but now the new Unifi Portal is basically just a billing and payment platform it seems. Actually I am emailing regarding an Unifi Lite Streamyx account, which I dont have any contract with them anymore. So not sure how the contract applies. By the way in streamyx problem solving, if the CS said they reset your port, does that mean about physical change of the Rj11 wire connector to abother jack in the roadside DSL cabinet or is that just a session reset?

The strange thing was that after the supposed session reset, the modem kept changing IP address every couple of minutes for a while. It seems to stabilise for now. Could be their software bugs or what?

I thought this is the Remote Connection or Remote Administration feature which allow for outside your own network to access the login page of the router. Usually there is a checkbox to enable ot disable at the router. Is this the TR 069 thing? or is this a hidden feature like telnet of the router?

What kind of Streamyx is 10mbps? VDSL? So rm69 switch to 30m unifi is a lifetime fee not 1-2 years? Do all Streamyx user can get this offer?
