Twitter is not down. Unifi just can't access it. I use my mobile data (Maxis) no problem accessing Twitter. My friend on Maxis fiber can access Twitter no problem.

Not only that, I think some International routing are affected too. Cos some sites I go to can't access either. Even on Maxis.

Is there a scheduled maintenance announced?

I checked again. Too bad i cant get RM139 for 300 mbps is due to my left over 10 months contract.

Anyone can get RM159 per month for 300 mbps now if you are existing unifi user.

You get a FREE MESH WiFi M9 Plus. Just confirmed.
*
Are you sure? I called TM they say they don't have any promotion for RM129 100mbps users.

How can we confirm this though?

I also got the call today offering me RM159 for upgrade to 300Mbps with the mesh thingy, from my existing 100Mbps plan.

Wondering will the 600 mins free call still remain? I asked this because I got 2 different answer from 2 different occasion (1 from last month told me free calls not included anymore, today told me free call still remain intact).

So any sifu that upgraded recently can help me out?
Thanks.

Router wise, I already have a Asus RT-AX56U.
For the RM129, I was in the process of changing to Digi Fibre actually, got my Transfer ID and went to the TM Centre.
The CS there was just talking on why I wanted to port out and such and I told price was cheaper at Digi.
She then asked to wait a few minutes, went to the staff room and brought out a paper listing the StayWithUnifi prices. I am assuming those prices are to convince users to not to port out from Unifi.
She said she can offer RM129 300Mbps speeds, without HyppTV and no free voice calls. Not too big of an issue for me as I have Astro and have unlimited calls.
You can probably repeat my steps by just going to TM Centre and tell you want to consider to port out to *insert other telco company and their cheaper price*

I wanted to ask here before confirming my appointment with Digi, to see if it was a good idea to port out or not.

To anyone who intends to get counter offers from TM, you need to initiate the port out first and get a transfer ID before they will give you the above-mentioned prices. You can't just walk up to the TM counter to request. A Transfer ID must be present.

A transfer ID is what it meant literally. The port out is not completed yet. You are supposed to present that ID to your telco to finalize everything. It has nothing to do with the ports at your area. Your account is still active until the port out process is complete. So if the counter person gives you a counter offer, then take it. If she doesn't then by all means decide what you want to do then. You are not obliged to complete the port out if you don't want to.

Don't overthink things.

There is no such thing as loyalty in their eyes. To them we are just a bunch of cows and sheep they wanna slaughter. The fact that one package can have multitude of prices where the most loyal customers oftentimes pay the higher tiers than those whom TM calls "special customers".

They have weaved a tale so convincing and infectious about these "special customers" who deserve low tier pricing that their self-belief kick in. They may even lie, twist or even try to convince the rest of their existing customers that they are too normal to deserve these prices because they have not contributed in making TM great. No, your years of patronage with them don't count because you are just plain stupid.

I guess in these days the only way to become "special" is to be shrewd and not to stay loyal and just port out when the time comes. For normal people like me, it's during this brief window of time that I truly feel special and appreciated.

How pathetic of me.
