I switched from Maxis to TM early this month and got the RM20*24 months rebate on the 300mbp plan
you can find agents online providing this discount
Not sure how the bills would look like as my first bill won't be unavailable until 28 this/next month

The CGNAT part is really troublesome.

Sure, one can just enable IPv6 to solve the CGNAT for direct end to end connectivity.
The issue with IPv6 address is the upper 48 bits used for the global network addressing will change whenever the router is rebooted or WAN6 connection is lost.

So much for dynamic IPv6 address. sad.gif

That is same as IPv4 public IP address?
If use IPv6 DDNS can solve it?

Just got my 300Mbps -SWU package done. My unifi profile still haven't update.
Technician bring over a Fiberhome SR1041Y router.
Anyone has any idea how to set it as AP? Can't really find those usual static IP setting.

Wait until next bill cycle and see for any update, they always late on this kind of stuff.
*
tldr; all bills are settled either by overpayment or promptly within same week it is issue. condition for award: is "pay before deadline", yet not a single reward point even after 3 months.

i followed up.
TM already closed the 2nd incident report that i lodged: "because TM Rewards department already said in-progress". CS said it's gonna take 1 or 2 months to reflect. so where is point from november? cannot answer except "wait for february bill".

inb4 yes, I'm haggard begging for the meagre points. unifi fibre is excessively, unjustly priced in the current treatment by TM, so i am demanding every inch, more so when TM said it's an entitlement.

Just signup my "SWU" package today from 100Mbps to 300Mbps, mean SWU promo still on going.

My first try on December 2021 was rejected as I still under contract, my contract end in 15 Jan 2022, than today try apply again and success enrol.

I keep mention I want free call 600 minute and the staff told me if got request than will give for free, else it will remove from our package and left only 300Mbps basic internet. But the staff unable show me actual for proven only tell me wait and it will reflect on your next month billing.

Anyone who also got get free call 600 minute mind to share…

I am having your same situation.
I asked the lady politely to remain my free call, but she not really confirm that it will still be there.

Will wait next bill to see whether the free call is still there.

I just check with TM livechat, they said my free call still available in SWU package.

Last time, I remember when I double confirm with the TMpoint staff, she said no free call will be include.

Maybe you can check with livechat.

If you look at the StayWithUnifi 300mbps RM129 plan, Voice STD20 is no longer included.
So you can't ask them to keep those 600 minutes. It all depends on the HQ (if they want to include it or not)

ya, agree with u that why the staff unable confirm and ask us wait till next month billing, and when next billing it might just without any free call and we unable complaint to any authority as we had no black and white.

ipv6 is different.
For home user, TM unifi will supply you 1st 64bits of the ipv6 address called ipv6 pd (Prefix Delegation). Your router will handle the 2nd half of the 64bits. So router and devices/pc will receive own ipv6 address which are public address. There are no need for NAT and port forwarding. You will set firewall rules instead to open ports according to the ipv6 address.

The issue is the unifi ipv6 PD is not fixed, it change every time the router reboot.

Using router os such as openwrt, user can have static lease for the 2nd half of the ipv6 address. So no matter how the ipv6 PD changes, the firewall settings only deals with 2nd half of the ipv6 address. By running client ddns ipv6 on each pc/home servers, we can get domain name to point back to our pc/servers as usual.

Using IPv4 public IP and port forwarded as analogy, the first 64bits is same as IPv4 public IP, while second 64bits is equivalent to port forwarded to private IP?
Then use DDNS to get the first 64bits when not connected to local network?

If I had signup with SWU 300 and 6 months later I need to relocate to a new house in another state. What will happened?

Anyone still managed to get TVpack Varnam/Ruby with SWU 300@129?

Even if you complain, the SWU plan clearly stated no free call and you agree to sign up. So actually they are not obligated to give. Those who sign up SWU plan should not be too concern about free calls, if you get it then you get it, if not that's it.
