Worth it or not?
Nope. Buying your own router is more worth it than renewing your contract with UniFi for another 24 months

Got email to upgrade from unifi lite aka streamyx to unifi fiber (from 8mbps to 300mbps) at my area (rural).

Should I take the upgrade or stick to current package? Asking because the price jump (from 80 to 199), is the connection reliable?
If UniFi fiber is available in your area now, there is no need to upgrade directly to 300Mb/s
Go with 30Mb/s first @ RM89 per month

You can upgrade your UniFi speed afterwards if you feel unsatisfied with the speed of 30Mb/s

Mean if i apply, TM will come to pull new optic cable?
Just apply sajalah, later port habis, you pulak menyesal and have to wait a few more years until they install more ports
TM won't terminate your Streamyx/UniFi Lite until your Fiber is installed

I do not know if i can find compatible wireless card for my laptop, quite old ady
State your laptop brand and full model number
Better yet, just provide a photo of a sticker on the back of your laptop, then we'll help you identify if your laptop WiFi card is upgradable

Model : Samsung RF410
You can upgrade the WiFi card of your laptop to Intel AC 7260
Should be very cheap in Shopee

Internal card will always be better than USB Wi-Fi card

How to check the wireless card is compatible with my laptop?
The mini PCI slot is compatible with any cards
And Samsung doesn't block third party WiFi cards

Only Lenovo (previously IBM), HP & Toshiba does the whitelisting

Any 800Mb/s users here can help me do a speedtest?
My Speedtest to Telekom server always gets around 805 ~ 815Mb/s

But tonight I'm only getting 400 ~ 700Mb/s

Only 1 device connected. Nothing is being downloaded nor am I streaming something right now

There's definitely something going on with UniFi right now
Even in the office I can't get full 800Mb/s & certain sites take a while to load

So if i interpret this correctly, I'll be charged Rm53 visit if BTU broke down even though no fault of mine?
No. You will only be charged if there's nothing wrong by TM side
If the BTU died on it's own, not caused by you, then you won't be charged whatsoever

Does the following screenshot from B818 means I can connect it directly to the ONU?
No. The B818 lacks VLAN tagging for UniFi
