If I already asked tm agent to request for port (dono got apply onot) and they asked me to pick some tnc in WhatsApp msg.

If suddenly I went to apply other, den if they got the port but I've got fibre d den how? Anyone knows?

what the agent means is, the agent will request the extra port available on the FDP. as long as it does change any ISP. Because other ISPs are not allowed to request the Extra port. Only unifi is allowed to use extra port. If TM has found that their Extra port is used on another telko, then TM will immediately terminate the extra port. because it has violated the terms and conditions.

If I managed to get from Digi/maxis for reserved port then unifi come and get me extra port. Lol that time still can reject unifi? Cause I gave them my ic and bill for request on port.

I don't want end like got two fibre

Finally TM has come and install fiber (Unifi) at my house by today.... All the way they drag more than 2 month.

Some question to ask,
1. currently i am use the default router provide by TM, can i set dns ?
because i found that after set still got website canot go.

2. i can use unifi tv app to view free channel?


new for unifi.... need some advise

yes you can reject unifi, automatically the extra port is also canceled, because the extra port is only reserved for unifi only.

While for other telko other have to wait for the port vacancy.

as you know, one TM FDP has 10 ports (8 normal ports and 2 extra ports). if 8 ports have been used there are only 2 extra ports left And the extra port is only given for Unifi only. for other users who want to use Maxis / Digi / Celcom will have to wait for the vacancy between the 8 ports

1. had to login as admin instead of user (not sure about the new white router with 4 antennas, but works on Netis and Az-Tech)

2. If you registered 100mbps plan, no more free unifi tv. >100mbps it's a yes.

What you saw in the video is already an example of a standard installation. The black wire comes into the house pinned along the wall to where you desire to install the modem, then terminated with a fast(blue colored connector) to plug into the fibre modem.

You're only supplied with 2 devices:

Black wire coming into home------>Fibre Modem(ONT)----->Router(Netis orange colored)

Both are shown in the video.

Some places they don't offer that orange colored router but a white colored one shown earlier on a table above which is even a much lousier brand named A-Z Technology.

Depending on your area, the fibre modem and router supplied by TM may vary with different models/brands.

currently i am using 100Mbps + unifi Plus Box package, can i downgrade to rm89 package while im still within contract period?

because your current internet plan is 100mbps + including free packs (Aneka / Varnam / Ruby)

you can choose to add-on RM20 for UPB, then you can watch tv channel according to the tv pack plan you choose.
For example my internet plan is 100Mbps + including free Aneka Pek. So I can watch my tv plan at UPB by using the current UnifiPlayTV id without upgrading the plan to the ultimate pack

Like that I Better ask most of the ISP and see who got the port then just sign. I can't wait unifi anymore maybe a few months haha

Nope, mine is 100mbps try me broadband.
No hypptv, not even the free channels on mobile phone are provided

Check whether they will extend the contract for 24 months which means it will cost around RM480

A Xiaomi Mi Box S is RM320 which you can install the Unifi TV app from Play Store to achieve the same thing.
