I just upgrade from 100mbps to 300mbps last month. I called the TM sales department to upgrade to the rm159 300 Mbps packages and they agreed. But when I wanna pay the bill they charged me with the original price rm189. Did anyone experience this too? I should have recorded the phone call conversation for future proof  bangwall.gif

Call the billing department at 100 to dispute. If no response, report it to MCMC as you already agree to the RM159 plan.

do you still use/want to keep Unifi TV? Because you are still charged RM30 for Unifi TV

300Mbps RM159 + Unifi TV RM30 = RM189

Did you include the prorated charges for your current month? Do remember, we pay in advance. There should be separated charges show on the bill.

Does anyone know how long does TM takes to upgrade the Unifi plan? I applied though TM Point on Friday morning while settling some billing changes but did not receive any documentations for the upgrade. The staff did acknowledge the plan upgrade request thou.

Probably, Malaysia law don't set in writing the minimum internet speed an ISP should offer. Nice relationship with the ISP, you scratch my back, I scratch yours.

I'm not mistaken, the minimum speed allowed by the Malaysian government (including MCMC) is 30mbps for fiber optics.

Wasn’t this internet plan introduced in April 2015, and last updated in 2018 with just a rebranding from Streamyx to Broadband Lite. I wonder why they reintroduced this plan? And why is this issue being raised again? The reason is that the link for this plan still exists for so long. In other words, the plan has never been terminated since the first day it was introduced.

UPDATED !
As expected

Hi, I am planning to subscribe 800mbps unifi business plan for my shop. It’s an old shop lot hence the shop lot has no built in infrastructure for unifi cabling. However, I have done the plaster ceiling for my shop, if I would like to request the contractor to pull the cabling above the ceiling, may I know roughly what are the extra charges? I did read the unifi website guide but it’s not clearly stated over there as I know it’s case by case basis. I do have 3 manholes ready throughout the distance of around 50 feet from outside of my shop into my office, and I have a row of led light (with gap of <1 meter apart to each other) that can be remove so the technician is able to put their hand through the hole for pulling the wire. I just like to have a rough idea before the installation, just in case I won’t kena chop by the contractor 🤣 thank you in advance for any kind of advice, peace!

Officially, TM no longer offers 30mbps plans with a 60GB quota. (The same day there was a controversy about the 1mbps 1GB quota)
