No problem here, getting around 40-50Mbps speed for 4k.

Kindly enable your IPv6 to get better speed on youtube.

Why here don't have someone provide vpn service..haha
But of course bandwidth quota is a problem.

Whoever want to setup a vpn server, now can try Linode. 10ms from unifi, but maybe need to rebuilt instance to get the correct ip with 10ms,or else may get 40ms routing.

I asked TP Link about IPv6 for their router and they said not to enable it as it is not stable. Should I enable it or not? confused.gif

More like TP-Link has lousy IPv6 implementation.
Believe me on this. dry.gif

Wondering what's the best offer that existing Unifi subscribers are being offered now, I received a call from their sales -

300/50 Mbps RM159/month
300/50 MBps with IPTV RM179/month

both with TP-Link mesh deco (router + node)

My desktops, NAS, TV etc. are all connected with ethernet and I already have good WiFi coverage in  the house, so TP-Link equipment is of imited interest. Can you bargain with them to reduce cost if you don't take their hardware or do they have better deals? I read in this thread last November they were offering 300Mbps for RM139.
*
Aiyah I missed the deal 300 for 139.....I am planning to upgrade my 100mbps for rm129. Please share if got good deal

okok

based on the video how to install:
https://unifi.com.my/unifi-experience

means the main node has to be remained plugged-in into the router?

this way, Deco will be work as AP to extend wifi range. This can be work too.

But my personal are change the main router to Deco.
1st Deco as my main router. 2nd Deco will be between the wifi range main deco.

oo.. didn't know deco can replace directly the existing tm wifi router.. thought only serve as mesh.
means the deco itself can establish pppoe and there is configuration for it..
right?

I'm gonna try googling and read up on what I can find
Thanks for the tips 😁
