Nah man, they will not do that. Because no competition in certain area, unless Allo deploy fiber to overlap all their coverage, then they will feel the heat. RN most of the Taman in my area that previous no fiber are all taken by Allo. One day the TM telemarketer even call me asked to see if I have other address that they can "help". Ya now they r willing to "help" . Because allo really aggressive deploying fiber. Good for the ppl that using Allo instead of TM. Screw TM.

Usually u will get SMS order-id after the confirmation. Next day they will come to ur premises and give u the router.
If you already had a good router you can tell them to use ur own router, what they do is just restart router and modem then ciao.
Some ppl get the SWU package but no router, so you monitor and see this few days ur speed got change or not.

Allo and Time for 1Gbps is RM199, so how much can TM charge for 1Gbps and 2Gbps, since not much competition at landed property.
800Mbps already charging at RM349 and require to bundle with unifi TV.
Im guessing they will replace the 800Mbps with 1Gbps and introduce new package for 2Gbps. Pricing for 1Gbps could remain the same at RM349.
Or they completely remove 800Mbps package and introduce new pricing for 1Gbps.
So maybe 1Gbps at RM389, 2Gbps at RM489, both bundle with Unifi TV.
Based on their fuckup history, I will not surprise that they went with the latter.

If your contract ended, you can request for "StaywithUnifi" package, RM99 100Mbps.
You can also go to TM Point to try to request, if your contract ended, the chances to get it is pretty high.
If you still under contract, go to TM point try to flirt or act kesian abit with the staff see if they can help.
imho, 50Mbps for RM99 is not worth it.

What B&W r u looking for? Some ppl over here manage to get the package.
if other option is available no point to stay with TM.
Allo even offer RM109 for 300Mbps for CNY promo. TM can go n f themselves.

TM migrating all 30Mbps, 50Mbps and 100Mbps user to private ip. if ur 100m still public ip, its just temporary, soon they will migrate all to private ip.
based on the statement, it looks like migration will be done on Jan 2022. Maybe delayed, but not sure.

It really depends on ur luck, some previously got free call and got stripped when switch to swu package.
As far as I can see, most of us are all using StayWithUnifi-Basic. It just a naming thing, basic or not, it doesn't really matter.
When u signup for a new package, you should have asked before confirming the switch.
Their package pricing are fuckup, different person get different offer.
You must double-check and triple check what kind of services included or excluded before signing up.

During the turbo era, all streamyx users get ntg (including me), while unfi users get boosted and stay with the same price.
Some ppl over here only paying RM149 or even lower for 800Mbps.

Finally copper era is now a history, rmb my home first streamyx package was 384kbps RM66/m up until 10m RM110/m.

i rmb it gone thru few stages of upgrade, the pricing only offer for existing customer.
when i upload 1 or 2mb files, my internet will dc. if no splitter, ppl pickup the phone will dc.
even at 10m, upload 300mb+ file takes round 5-6 hrs and you can do shit during the upload.
384k > 512k = free upgrade
1m = RM89
4m = RM99
8m = RM110
10m = RM110
10m = RM89 (special offer for new customer, for old customer u have to terminate and signup again)
300m = RM129 (SWU package) say bye bye to copper, say hi to fiber with bad routing < We are here now
