I have received a copy of Resit Perserahan Pindah Milik Rumah from my lawyer for a subsale purchase. The registration of pindah milik was done in Perak Land Office.

Is there anyway I can check the status of the title, whether it's been transferred to me? I'm currently residing in Klang Valley, it's a hassle to travel to Perak just to check on the status. My lawyer said it usually takes around 3-4 months for the new title to be issued under my name.

Aside, from making calls to the land office, can I check the status online? Those who purchased their property in Selangor can check online.

Also, does it really take such a long time for the new title to be issued?
