as i said, "bill gate need to have new windows to run on this processor instead of using windows vista"
neither vista nor longhorn con run on this

Show me your linux and I'll show you mine.
It's not weird for a processor to be built for a particular OS only. Sun Microsystem have their own processor for their OS, IIRC the UltraSPARC

hahaaa......
while people (Intel and AMD) still looking a way to reach moon,
alien (Tilera) already reach earth and will take control.
if people still didn't do for something,
sure will be dead at last..
agree???? biggrin.gif

meh, it's for different purpose. This is certainly for budget purposes where you don't have to get chipsets to control this. You can't compare both.

wat i mean here,

while Intel and AMD(people) still in research to get thier target(moon) (for example, Intel looking a way to get 80 Cores),
some unknow processor producer(alien), Tilera already able can achieve their target and will take control the market.(earth).
if Intel and AMD didn't look for solution, they will be terminate in the market.

so do you know that the concept for build a processor is same??? either Intel or AMD or Sun Microsystem. concept is the same, they just add some features to archive the main popurse of the processor.
so, if Intel get the concept from Tilera, then may be Intel can produce more powerful processor..
thats all for my story

Not many can utilise this. They need custom made software to run an OS on this, thus that's why it's for Linux, as it's easier for them to adjust the software. Heck, I'd expect a 64 core to be more powerful. expect this to fight with Sun Microsystem's server product
