#4 since it is indoor shots..maybe u can try to increase ur F number? instead for F5.6, try f4/f2.8?

your last pic is overexposed. you can tell by the faded/not so vibrant color. #1 DOF not enough, and pick a sample that is not marred by broken petal #2, do a vertical shot of your subject. the left and right side is too empty #3 no comment.

I think you need to crop your pics a little bit more. Some has too much space and the last piece has that brown thing hanging from the top

#1 A better flower would be a better subject. Broken petals don't really work. #2 Seriously underexposed and WB is out. #3 Dull subject. #4 Noise and lack of contrast. #5 Background is too distracting. #6 Good. #7 Two objects wanna be the main subject. Should get rid of those.
My 2 sen.

8) I think you can crop out the blur water and just focus on the droplet. Something to this effect (sorry I took ur pic and edited it ): I think can even crop more of the sides so that the focus is on the droplet. I dont have the original file so it wont enlarge the photo when I crop. 9) Nice colour, sharp too This post has been edited by zio: Aug 21 2007, 05:10 PM

QUOTE(soulfly @ Aug 21 2007, 04:58 PM) yup.... it was 1/125 sec indeed, according to EXIF data but somehow i think i have used 1/4000 sec If you open the flash and fire, the shutter will be 1/125 when your SSS turned on. Keep posting man!
