i have to disagree here

it's a combination of both the direct fat shaming of adolescent young girls in asian culture (see chinese mom/aunty every CNY casually go "Wah you got FAT, you damn pork chop, how to find bf/husband how to kahwin" confirm got different variant in india/melayu/japan/korea), and the western ideal beauty standard of being a model (see victoria secret, maybe bad example, but you know what i mean most models are soooo thin only their face are like god tier)

like someone mentioned above before, they literally starved themselves to the bones becus of this and it's a god damn shame
