Won't recommend the Commandos model because it's a TN panel (poor color performance), so the Viewsonic it is, then (IPS, 75Hz) icon_idea.gif

If you can up your budget a bit, then the Philips 242M8 is a better choice:

Sure, for most users an IPS panel is the best pick IMHO, and if you are talking about eSports title like Dota 2 your GTX970 should handle 144Hz just fine icon_idea.gif

The VA2432-H appears to be the same model as the VX, with the only difference being the VX model is FreeSync compatible (does not work on your GPU, as FreeSync requires a GTX1000 series GPU at the minimum) icon_idea.gif

Based on usage to buy monitor
If just for drama I think below 500 is sufficient
If for gaming then different story 🙂

mostly use for work, so long hour usage.
i found a few 24" IPS around 400+ range.
1. VIEWSONIC VX2481 (mentioned above) SuperClear IPS?
2. Acer Nitro VG240Y
3. Asus VZ249HEG1R
4. BenQ GW2480
5. Dell SE2417HGX
6. AOC 24G2E5

actually they all got huge difference or some special feature?
which is more worth it?

What you mention the model above same as my research
Yes the end I pick the viewsonic model because of the 3 year onsite warranty and refresh rate 75 instead of 60 < idk this have big difference any pro can explain to me
I see many people suggest buy IPS panel so I go for it. My previous monitor is TN panel I think the color calibration it's not good

any suggestions for best bang for buck 24" monitor?

currently looking at pixxel+ PF24HD slim/ss and Acer's EK241Y - both at rm419, any other model that's better at lower prices? XD
